Mr William 'Bill' John Dowling

E Front web.jpgPassed away at Redditch Hospital the evening of Friday 22nd March 2024, aged 70 years.

He will be a great loss to his wife Marion, his son Joshua, sisters Doreen and Christine, brother Peter, and in-laws Martin, Wyn and Vivien. Bill was a much loved grandfather to Jasmine, Henrietta, Georgia, Florence, Henry, Jacob, Hector, Oliver, Jessica, and another Henry, also a great-granddad to Emilia.

A former Town Mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon, Bill was still currently a Town Councillor, representing Shottery Ward. Members of the Town Council, and staff will undoubtedly miss his presence in the council chamber.  Bill was a Stratford lad who loved participating locally in a number of sports.  

Bill's funeral service will take place at Oakley Wood Crematorium, North Chapel, on Tuesday 23rd April 2024 at 12:00 noon.

In memory of Bill, all are invited to wear a splash of colour (smart/casual dress).
