Katharine House provides specialist palliative care for adults with life-limiting conditions across North Oxfordshire, South Northamptonshire and South Warwickshire.
As well as providing end of life care, we also offer support for symptom management and pain relief. But our care is not just about managing the physical symptoms of disease. We know that people need emotional and spiritual support too, so our professionals can help here. And we can help people to access the practical support they need too.
Your ‘Hospice at Home’ for patients and their families facing incurable illnesses
We are a local Charity founded in 1997 with the purpose of caring for patients with illnesses which do not respond to curative treatment and who wish to be nursed at home. Our Nursing Services are managed through a team of Registered General Nurses specialising in palliative care supported by Health Care Assistants. We care for the patient and their family, in their own homes throughout the period of their illness.
Our service covers Shipston, Wellesbourne, Kineton and the surrounding villages and is completely free of charge.
We depend on the ongoing generosity of our supporters and donors to ensure that this free community service, continues to provide high quality nursing care to families facing terminal illness, with the required expertise and support.
We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support we receive from the community we serve.
