It is with great sadness that we announce that Gill passed away at Warwick Hospital on Wednesday 20th August. A much loved wife of James for 50 years, a mum to Claire and Paul, and grandma to Henry, Julia, Mary and Cate. Gill was also a dear sister, aunt and friend to many and will be greatly missed by all. Gill’s zest for life was never dimmed! A celebration of Gill’s life will take place at Oakley Woods Crematorium, North Chapel, on Thursday 18th September at 12 noon. Family flowers only. A donation is invited to Pancreatic Cancer UK. These may be left in the retiring collection at the service or made by clicking the 'Donate' button below.

Happy memories of walking with Gill having met in Patagonia. We completed the TMB in The Alps and had some great walks in The Lakes, Snowdonia, the Brecon Beacons and The Chilterns. And Gill, I will complete those days on the South Downs Way…
