Clark J M - photo.jpgof Brailes, passed away peacefully at home on 20th August 2025, aged 73 years.

Beloved wife of Paul; dearly loved mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all her family, friends and all who knew her.

Funeral service to take place at St. George's Church, Brailes, on Friday 12th September at 1:00 p.m.

Family flowers only; In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed in support of two causes.

One is requested by Mum to help provide practical support towards mobility equipment for Finley Newell, a close friend of Sally and Ned’s. Whom mum became close to at baby music classes she attended with Ned. At just one year old, Finley was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Despite the challenges associated with this Rosie and Finley remain positive and have a wonderful comic attitude to life which mum shared .

We also invite donations to Shipston Home Nursing, whose compassion and care brought great comfort to Mum and all of us in her final days. We will forever be grateful for the kindness they showed during such a difficult time. We wish to support them to enable them continue this for other families.

Your ‘Hospice at Home’ for patients and their families facing incurable illnesses

We are a local Charity founded in 1997 with the purpose of caring for patients with illnesses which do not respond to curative treatment and who wish to be nursed at home.  Our Nursing Services are managed through a team of Registered General Nurses specialising in palliative care supported by Health Care Assistants. We care for the patient and their family, in their own homes throughout the period of their illness.

Our service covers Shipston, Wellesbourne, Kineton and the surrounding villages and  is completely free of charge.

We depend on the ongoing generosity of our supporters and donors to ensure that this free community service, continues to provide high quality nursing care to families facing terminal illness, with the required expertise and support.

We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support we receive from the community we serve.

Janet brightened the lives of everyone who was fortunate enough to know her, and she'll be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all of us forever. She was the best neighbor a little boy in a new country could have ever hoped for. I learned so much from her that she was like a 2nd mum to me during my time in England, and I'm so grateful that we were able to reconnect years later, and that I got to know her all over again as an adult. I already miss our conversations -- both the funny ones and the deep, lengthy ones. Janet, you were one-of-a-kind, and you've meant so much to my family over the past four decades that all I can say is, "thank you." With love, -- James

I will forever thank Janet for pouring so much love and laughter into my mom’s life. I was honored to call her my gif mother as she was truly gifted with a light we all saw. We are so fortunate to have her spirit imprinted on ours forever. - Beth Haus
