Shipston Home Nursing

Your ‘Hospice at Home’ for patients and their families facing incurable illnesses

We are a local Charity founded in 1997 with the purpose of caring for patients with illnesses which do not respond to curative treatment and who wish to be nursed at home.  Our Nursing Services are managed through a team of Registered General Nurses specialising in palliative care supported by Health Care Assistants. We care for the patient and their family, in their own homes throughout the period of their illness.

Our service covers Shipston, Wellesbourne, Kineton and the surrounding villages and  is completely free of charge.

We depend on the ongoing generosity of our supporters and donors to ensure that this free community service, continues to provide high quality nursing care to families facing terminal illness, with the required expertise and support.

We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support we receive from the community we serve.

Messages of condolence

Many thanks Sid for helping a young surveyor who didn't know an arris from a mullion when first working with you at Pettifers in the 70's. Thanks again on behalf of all those carpentry apprentices that you showed the way with tolerance and patience. Thanks again for the thousands of cups of tea you had ready for us at half time and after we'd played a game of football at London Road for Shipston Excelsior. A true Shipstonian legend. RIP Sid.
