Mrs Alison Williams

Nick has been part of our family's story for as long as any of us can remember. As first cousins and only children, Nick and Cecilia shared a very special bond from childhood. Mum often talks about the wonderful times they spent growing up together as families, with Nick teasing her like the big brother she never had. She has such happy memories of family holidays, driving around Europe together in their twenties, and accompanying him to his car racing events. Although life eventually took us to opposite sides of the world, the distance never changed how close our families remained. There were many treasured visits by the Nicklins to Australia, where Nick and Avril became part of our wider circle of friends, and many trips by our family to the UK and Menorca. They are memories we will always cherish. To us, Nick was also a much-loved uncle. He helped teach some of us to drive, and we always loved hearing his stories from his travels, especially his car and motorcycle adventures. He always welcomed us with kindness, generosity and warmth, and had a wonderful way of making family feel important. Our hearts are with Avril, Emma and all of Nick's family and friends. We feel incredibly fortunate to have shared so many happy years and memories with him. He will always hold a very special place in our family's hearts and will be greatly missed. We are also sending the love and heartfelt condolences of so many friends here in Australia who had the pleasure of knowing Nick and Avril over the years and have such fond memories of the times they shared together. With all our love, Cecilia & Charles Soh Patrick, Mardi, Isabelle, Jasmine & Jake Sean, Kristey, Tristan & Eva Vanessa, Alexander, Rupert, Summer & Willow
